Bill Kaplan
CJA Vice-Chair
Professional Division

William (Bill) Kaplan has been an active Federation volunteer for over 15 years. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair for the Professional Division for this year's Combined Jewish Appeal and also sits on the board of Temple Sholom.

Bill is a native of Vancouver who is passionate about supporting the local Jewish community as well as Israel, “Keeping the Jewish community and Jewish institutions strong is why I donate so much of my time to Federation. I also think it is important to provide financial support for and restore our sense of pride in Israel.”

When he is not working on the campaign, Bill is busy in the courtroom as a commercial litigation lawyer for Blake Cassels and Graydon. He also spends his time on the tennis courts and golf course with his two sons, Max (17) and Joe (14).
