YOM HA'ATZMAUT CELEBRATION
Join the community on Monday, April 19th as we come together to celebrate Israel’s 62nd Independence Day with Israeli musical group, HaGroovratron. This year's celebration promises fun for everyone with HaGroovatron's modern twist on the Israeli songbook and unique fusion of Israeli traditional, rock & roll, funk, reggae, country and jazz. VTT STUDENTS HELP HAITI
Last month, students from Vancouver Talmud Torah School were moved by the scenes and stories of devastation in Haiti, and they found a way to help. Together, the students raised over $560 for Haiti, which they donated to Jewish Federation’s Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. MORE

JFSA is pleased to announce our new mentorship pilot project geared towards Russian Jews. This project will build welcoming opportunities, connect the Russian Jewish community with our larger community and educate lay leaders about the Russian Jewish experience. If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Adele at 604.257.5151 or email.

The Jewish Museum and Archives of British Columbia
is looking for photographs of youth groups from any date and from anywhere in British Columbia. If you have photographs of youth groups or even some members of a group doing crafts, projects or other activities, please call Laura Moodie, Executive Director at 604.638.7289.

The Hebrew Free Loan Association offers interest free loans up to $5,000 and emergency loans up to $750 to members of the Jewish community to help deal with family emergencies, start a new career, pursue education, settle new immigrants, deal with business failure, or generally make ends meet. The L’Chaim Adult Day Centre has space available for the beloved fragile older adult in your life.
L’Chaim provides a warm, supportive and stimulating day program and respite for caregivers. L'Chaim also operates in Richmond. For more information, please call Annica Carlsson Hyman at 604.257.5111, local 400 or email.
