	ENGAGING YOUNG MINDS Over the next few days, three innovative events are taking place in the community for parents and educators. An important theme carries across all three: developing new skills and strategies to engage young minds and expand their knowledge of Jewish ritual and traditions. MORE

	RISE TO THE CHALLENGE! This year, Federation has partnered with several local families to help your Annual Campaign gift go further. These families have generously increased their own campaign gifts to help meet the growing needs of our community by creating The Challenge Fund, which is designed to add on to new gifts and increases. 	ALAN DERSHOWITZ DVDS AVAILABLE FOR SALE Nearly a month after the Annual Campaign Opening Night Event, An Evening with Alan Dershowitz, we continue to receive overwhelming positive feedback from the community. The Jewish Museum and Archives of British Columbia is looking for photographs of youth groups from any date and from anywhere in British Columbia. If you have photographs of youth groups or even some members of a group doing crafts, projects or other activities, please call Laura Moodie, Executive Director at 604.638.7289.

Do you know someone in need of financial help? The Hebrew Free Loan Associ ation offers interest free loans up to $5,000 and emergency loans up to $750 to members of the Jewish community to help deal with family emergencies, start a new career, pursue education, settle new immigrants, deal with business failure, or generally make ends meet. The L’Chaim Adult Day Centre has space available for the beloved fragile older adult in your life.
