22ND ANNUAL PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST

Federation’s Israel and Overseas Affairs department is ready to host over 150 students in grades four through seven who are preparing for the 22nd annual Public Speaking Contest. Each student will deliver a three minute speech in front of their peers, parents, moderators and judges - and some will even do it in Hebrew. MORE

KDHS STUDENTS BUILD CONNECTIONS IN ISRAEL
Nineteen students from King David High School recently returned from a 10 day trip to Israel, where they spent time primarily in the north, and ended with short visits to Tzfat, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The highlight, said Debbie Appelbaum, one of three staff on the trip, “was watching the connections develop and strengthen between KDHS and Har Vagai students.” MORE |
