NEW: JEWISH FEDERATION PARTNERS WITH VANCOUVER JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL
This year, for the first time, the Vancouver Jewish Film Festival (VJFF) and Jewish Federation collaborated to expand their outreach potential. The association is two-fold. First, the VJFF received an allocation from the Federation Annual Campaign to support their efforts to engage segments of the community that might not otherwise be connected to Jewish life, and to engage the wider community with an understanding of Jewish culture. Second, the festival organizers and Jewish Federation worked together to co-create the Teen Short Film Contest – a new program aimed at engaging teens through team-based film making.

The JCCGV's Bagel Club runs a weekly community kitchen program open to all adults with special needs, Mondays from 5-7:00 p.m. in the program kitchen at the JCCGV.
