VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP PROFILE—HOWARD HAROWITZ

Community Facilitator: Richmond Services Hub

When the Richmond Community Services Hub was still in its early stages of development, a key step in the process was identifying someone who could help facilitate planning conversations, and ensure open communication among the planning partners. Luckily for the Richmond Services Hub, help was right in their neighborhood.

Management consultant Howard Harowitz played a key role in bringing the Richmond Services Hub into fruition by facilitating meetings and fostering a collaborative spirit among the nine participating organizations. He helped develop the framework that allowed the partners to come together to develop common goals for the Hub, and create a shared vision for the site.

Collaboration at the Core
Howard brought both his professional experience in strategy and leadership, and his volunteer experience in the Jewish and Richmond communities to the table for this important project.
