IT’S ANOTHER RECORD! $8.3 MILLION RAISED FOR COMMUNITY THROUGH JEWISH FEDERATION ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, the Jewish Federation Annual Campaign has achieved a record $8.3 million, up approximately $300,000 from last year which was also a record.
As a result, Jewish Federation and our partner agencies will be able to better address issues such as affordability and accessibility. With living in Vancouver continuing to become more expensive, more community members are moving farther away, often beyond the reach of most Jewish institutions. At the same time, many of those who pay a premium to live more centrally are finding it difficult to afford to participate in Jewish programs... MORE

Do you know someone in need of financial help? The Hebrew Free Loan Association offers interest free loans up to a maximum of $7,000 for personal loans, $10,000 for education and special purpose loans, and up to $750 for emergency loans to members of the Jewish community to help deal with family emergencies, start a new career, pursue education, settle new immigrants, deal with business failure, or generally make ends meet. The JCCGV's Bagel Club runs a weekly community kitchen program open to all adults with special needs, Mondays from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the program kitchen at the JCCGV.
