JEWISH READING MADE EASY
The Isaac Waldman Jewish Public Library recently launched a Book of the Week program. Designed to connect Jewish adults with meaningful Jewish-themed books, the program offers a weekly write-up of featured recommended readings by Jewish authors or on Jewish themes. MORE |

WOMEN GATHER TO BUILD A CARING AND COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITY
This past Sunday, nearly thirty women in our community gathered for a day of giving back at Women's Philanthropy Mitzvah Day.
The women met at the Peretz Centre to sort through donated goods before dispersing to various mitzvah sites throughout both the general and Jewish communities. MORE

The Jewish Museum and Archives of British Columbia is looking for photographs of youth groups from any date and from anywhere in British Columbia. If you have photographs of youth groups or even some members of a group doing crafts, projects or other activities, please call Laura Moodie, Executive Director at 604.638.7289.
Do you know someone in need of financial help? The Hebrew Free Loan Association offers interest free loans up to $5,000 and emergency loans up to $750 to members of the Jewish community to help deal with family emergencies, start a new career,

The L’Chaim Adult Day Centre has space available for the beloved fragile older adult in your life.

The JCCGV's Bagel Club runs a weekly community kitchen program open to all adults with special needs, Mondays from 5-7:00PM in the program kitchen at the JCCGV.
